Some quick reviews & gets!

Hey everyone! We have some catching up to do don't we! ^^ First of all, my brown extensions came a while ago. They cost $45 for 120 g of 22'' hair! I thought they would be a bit on the good-quality side but I'm actually not super pleased. They seem a bit thin and bunch together a lot, they also shed quite a bit. I've only worn them for about 2 weeks and they are already shedding :( Anyways, here's some photos. They don't look super bunched together because I combed them out.

I wasn't feeling very photogenic this day LOL.

If I had to rate these, I'd give them a 6.5/10. You can purchase them here if you like!

I also bought some curly extensions. These are synthetic hair, and they were the really cheap kind, at $6 each. They actually are pretty good for being only $6. They do tangle easily though, even after one use they start looking bad. :/

I didn't think they looked SUPER obvious until I saw how they look in photos.. oh geez. =__= They look better in real life.. (I hope :S) You can purchase them here.

Moving on to other gets, here's some blingies I have. I bought the mirror already made from Claire's, it was $6 I think. The sticker I bought on eBay here for $7! It's pretty durable!

I also bought the loveliest belt the other day in a small mall. It was $35 but worth it!

I tried creating a rokku-gal look with it, but kinda failed epicly. I put blingied sandals with it because it's kinda hot here right now. I kept the top simple to emphasize the blingied accessories. The belt actually looks a lot bigger IRL!

Also, here was my FOTD with this outfit. Kept it simple with a slight smokey look.

The natural looking contacts I'm wearing are Gothic 3-Tone Turquoise Lens.

Quiet Day Out

Today I went out with my boyfriend, this was my outfit:

I know my style's pretty bad, but I think I'm improving (a bit)! Hopefully when I get a job I'll be able to afford nice clothes. :P

Just an Idea~

Hey there! For a while now, I've been thinking of creating a YouTube account and making make-up and hair tutorials and stuff like that. The theme would be, "Beauty on a Budget"; which would be all about looking glamourous while not spending a ton of money! I don't like spending $30 on just a simple eyeshadow. I think it's dumb to buy a $50 facial lotion. Why should you have to pay more for ''fancier'' products, when you can buy a product that will give you the same result, but for $20 cheaper? That is my mentality.

However, I just don't know if I will get a lot of viewers! I'm a bit boring and drab, and not really glamourous like a lot of the YouTube gurus out there! I don't have money to go buy new products every week. Also, I don't know what I would call my channel. The name "beautyonabudget" is already taken! :/ Any suggestions?

Do you think it would be a good idea to create channel like this?

Halloween 2011!

Hello! What did you do for Halloween? ^w^ I went trick-or-treating with my friend. I'm such a little girl! It's a bit sad, I know.. but it was nice! We recieved a couple of snide comments though >__> ..

Anyways, I went as a Princess Kitty :3 Originally, I wanted to be a lolita but no store had any lolita costume :( Plus, I only had $25 to spend! u__u The outcome of my outfit was a little bland; I just put on a pink top and skirt to match the kitty accessories.

My friend Taylor has been my bestfriend for 4 years! She's pretty funny, as you can tell:

Anyways, about trick-or-treating. It was literally zero degrees celsius outside, so I lost all the feeling in my hands. :( When people offered me candy, my fingers fumbled around before I could grab one!

Exploring

Hello! Today my boyfriend & i decided to explore a new part of our city that we've never been to before! It was an interesting change! n_n


I curled my old extensions!! *w*

 Firstly, we went to a restaurant called "The Electric Cheetah". A very unique name, with very unique food! We ordered a purple cauliflower cheddar soup, and as an appetizer we ordered water chestnuts wrapped in bacon in a special sauce! I tried to order the most exotic things in the menu lol~ :P

The cauliflower soup tasted a little like mac n' cheese haha! And those water chestnuts... Maybe one of the best foods I've ever eaten! *Q* However, it lost a bit of it's appeal when the waiter told me the sauce had ketchup in it. I wish I had never asked... :S

I thought this was interesting:

Later, we stopped by a chocolate shoppe. The candies look so gourmet! *w*

However, I was a bit disappointed. The candies I got tasted like regular chocolate. What I thought was a gourmet candy was really just an oreo dipped in chocolate! :s

Towards the end of the night, we had dinner at a restaurant called "Cinco de Mayo". The ambiance of the restaurant was really festive and beautiful!

I cannot believe Allan ate alllll this food. @___@ He's a little piggy! *oink*



Allan's Birthday

Yesterday was my boyfriend's birthday! We didn't really do anything except go out to dinner :/ There isn't anything fun to do around here! And he doesn't like going clubbing or anything..So we basically did nothing all day. Next week however, we are going to celebrate with some of his friends~

Art Prize 2011 Picspam!

Hello all.! ^w^Yesterday Allan (boyfriend) and I went to Art Prize. It's basically a huge art festival that happens every year in my city! It's very interesting~ :o

Well, I just wanted to share some pics that I took! But its not really related to fashion or gal or anything though. ^_^
